This purpose of this policy and procedure is to explain the conditions under which Quality Training & Hospitality
College (QTHC) may apply a refund to international students in compliance with the Education Services for
Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act) and the requirements of Standard 3 of the National Code. This policy
does not remove the right to take further action under Australia’s consumer protection laws.

To clearly outline Quality Training & Hospitality College (QTHC) attendance expectation of students including
the procedure for recording and monitoring student attendance and the procedure for notifying students who fail to maintain satisfactory attendance.

The purpose of this policy is to outline the rules and regulations students must follow during their Holistic
Placement (HP).

To provide a documented process for assessing and administering requests from international students holding a student visa seeking Transfer of Provider within the first six months of commencement of the principal program, in accordance with the National Code of Practice, Standard 7. Quality Training & Hospitality College (QTHC) recognises overseas students as consumers and supports them to exercise choice, while acknowledging that they may also be a group that requires support to transition to study in Australia.

To clearly outline Quality Training & Hospitality College’s (QTHC) expectations of students with regard to course progress and workload to ensure they complete the course within the expected duration, and maintain satisfactory course progress throughout their course of study.

Quality Training & Hospitality College (QTHC)’s Agents represent and promote the college and often act as the first point of contact for students who are looking to study with QTHC. Therefore, QTHC is committed to ensuring its Agents act in an ethical, compliant and appropriate manner.

from prospective international students, communicating selection criteria to Education Agents, or when
dealing with queries from prospective students.

The purpose of this policy is to outline the circumstances in which a student can defer, suspend or cancel their
enrolment with Quality Training & Hospitality College (QTHC) and where QTHC can initiate the suspension or
cancellation of the student’s enrolment.

This policy is to ensure that an individual’s prior learning achieved through formal and informal training, work experience or other life experiences is appropriately recognised.

This policy describes the practices and procedures by which Quality Training & Hospitality College (QTHC) will ensure the compliance with the relevant privacy legislation to protect the personal information and right to privacy of those which are detailed within this policy.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure a systematic approach to the treatment of plagiarism at Quality Training & Hospitality College.

To recognise units of competency or qualifications which have previously been successfully completed by the applicant and issued by other Registered Training Organisation.
